Voiceover script

‘Tattoos are widely popular and still spreading throughout each country. They can range from small, unique designs to full body paintings depending on the person. Tattoos are considered by many as pieces of art, personal to each owner. The popularity of tattoos is continuously increasing; more so now than ever before.’
Vox pop – reaction to tattoos.
‘Some people could consider a lot of tattoos to be over the top. Some go to extreme lengths with their own personal body art.’ (Show picture of the ‘Lizard man’ then their reactions to it) Others believe that there whereby tattoos are concerned you can never take it too far (footage of a tattoo artist or someone with a tattoo saying how you can never take it too far – Chris?) The variety of opinions vary due to a difference in age and gender.’
Process
The art of tattooing follows a very complicated process.  (Footage of a person saying the process of a tattoo, followed by archive material and cut aways)

‘Tattoos increase in popularity every year, especially since the popular, realism shows, LA Ink and Miami Ink. Celebrity endorsements like this have increased the demand of tattoos varying from all ages. Even recently a popular rock music magazine ‘Kerrang!’ featured a full issue on tattoos alone (shows archive material)
Reasons behind getting a tattoo
Whether the reasoning is to spite a parent, take full advance of turning 18 or to do something completely outrageous, every persons tattoo has their own personal and special meaning behind it.
Regretting a tattoo
However, wanting to do something completely crazy may cause lasting regrets, in particular if it’s an utterly extreme idea.
